Using the site
Readers may access, read, and share public IndoPac pages for personal, editorial, educational, or professional use, as long as they do not misrepresent the publication or interfere with the site.
Automated misuse, scraping that disrupts availability, attempts to bypass technical safeguards, and abusive traffic patterns are not permitted.
Reader accounts
A reader account is optional and does not create a paid subscription or guarantee uninterrupted access. Provide an email address you are authorized to use, keep access to the account secure, and promptly sign out of a shared device. Do not share authentication tokens, verification links, or signed profile-image links.
You are responsible for activity performed through your account. IndoPac may limit or suspend an account to protect readers, investigate abuse, comply with law, or preserve the service. You may request deletion through the account privacy controls, subject to limited security, suppression, backup, and legal records described in the privacy notice.
Your profile content
You may add a profile image, display name, short biography, and social or website links that you have the right to use. Do not upload unlawful, deceptive, infringing, malicious, hateful, sexually exploitative, or privacy-invasive content, or impersonate another person or organization.
You keep ownership of content you supply. You give IndoPac only the limited permission needed to store, inspect, secure, and return it within your account. The public-profile preference is off by default, and this release has no public profile endpoint. If public display is added later, IndoPac will explain what is shown before enabling it. Removing the content or deleting the account ends the related permission, apart from temporary backups and records IndoPac must retain.
IndoPac may reject or remove an unsafe or nonconforming image, biography, or link and may restrict repeated misuse. External social and website links remain subject to the destination service's terms.
IndoPac and third-party content
Unless a page says otherwise, IndoPac owns its original presentation, classifications, summaries, editorial framing, and other publication-specific material.
External headlines, source names, and linked reporting remain the property of their original publishers. Readers should rely on the originating publisher for full article text, official corrections, and any downstream licensing permissions.
External links and sources
IndoPac links to outside reporting and analysis. Third parties control those sites, and IndoPac is not responsible for their availability, terms, security, or later edits.
Briefs and live entries add direction and context. Consult the source publication for the full report.
Weekly interactive maps
Where runtime configuration enables it, a weekly update includes an interactive map provided by Google Maps. The map begins loading when the weekly page loads; the article, map headlines, and ordinary story links remain readable if the third-party map is blocked or unavailable.
Google Maps and its underlying map data are third-party services. Google's terms and privacy policy apply when the interactive map loads; IndoPac's editorial text and linked stories remain governed by these terms and the originating publishers' terms.
Google-supplied logos, copyright notices, and map or data-provider attribution must remain visible and must not be removed, altered, hidden, or obscured.
Email products and preferences
An editorial email subscription starts only after the address and product choice are confirmed where confirmation is required. Readers can select products, coverage, cadence, and delivery preferences. These settings guide delivery but do not guarantee that a particular story, region, time, or number of messages will always be available.
IndoPac may delay or withhold an edition if the news feed is stale, too limited, unsafe, or affected by an operational failure. Breaking-news timing is inherently variable. Product names, format, or schedules may change, and material changes will be reflected in the preference controls or related notice.
Subscribers may change or leave editorial products through account preferences or an unsubscribe link in an edition. Automated signup abuse, list bombing, interference with delivery systems, or use of an address without authority is prohibited.
No professional advice
IndoPac is a news and reference service, not legal, investment, security, or policy advice. It does not guarantee that every page or feed item is complete, error-free, or always available.
Coverage, source mix, and publication cadence may change as editorial priorities, technical requirements, and risk conditions evolve.
Local laws and policy changes
Readers are responsible for following their local laws and professional obligations. If IndoPac links to regulated or sensitive material, the reader remains responsible for how they use it.
IndoPac may revise these terms when its publication model or account features change. Continued use after an effective update means the revised terms apply to later use; readers may stop using the service or delete an optional account if they do not accept them.
